Smoky

My friend Peter has a little zoo in his house. He has two dogs, six cats, a parrot, seven turtles, four lizards, and four fish tanks! All the unique creatures are adorable. Here is one of them, a portrait of Smoky, the parrot. A special bird that got lost, and was found after weeks, by a lost-and-found ad on www.craigslist.com … J Frizza

Another early piece I’ve done with Paintbrush, back in 1997. A portrait of a friend, having some drinks at an art gallery. I love the pix-elation of the image cause by the basic computer tool. JF

Remembering Buster & Shilo

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009

Shilo and Buster were the most wonderful cats I ever had. Buster left  suddenly a few weeks ago. This past Friday, Shilo joined his brother at the other side of the rainbow bridge, after the saddest departure. I’m broken hearted, yet I know they are both in a better place now. Farewell my beloved creatures! JF

Commission: Chris Clark, Family Portrait

Monday, September 28th, 2009

My friend Chris commissioned me a piece for her daughter’s birthday. The picture, based on a photograph taken by Chris, is a scene with daughter and grandson on a marry-go-round.  Here is a detail of the final piece, printed on canvas and stretched on boards. JF
